Exhibitor Deadlines

March 31 – Early Registration Rate Deadline

June 22 – Early pricing for Badge Scanners expires

July 22 – Exhibitor Directory Information will be submitted for print.  No edits or updates will be accepted after this date.

July 22 – Email your booth raffle prize (if any) so I can list this in the onsite conference guide.

July 31 – Certificate of Liability due

August 12 – All booth staff must be registered

Certificate of Liability Insurance

As a standard requirement for all of our show exhibitors, it is necessary for your company to carry general liability coverage from and insurance company in good standing.

Requirements include:
Minimum policy limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate

All certificates must be sent to sales@rainprotection.net by July 31, 2017. If you do not submit an approved certificate by the deadline, you will automatically be charged $99 for conference through Rain Protection.

Booth Staff Registrations

Please register your booth staff online by August 12 by using the confirmation email you received. There is a button to Add/Edit Booth Staff.

Each 10’x10′ booth is allotted up to four (4) booth staff registrations at no charge and up to four (4) additional booth staff registrations at $25 each

(2) Primary Booth Staff – no charge and includes tickets to lunches and Tuesday Night Event

(2) Secondary Booth Staff – no charge, lunch tickets and Tuesday Night Event tickets available for purchase

(4) Additional Booth Staff – $25 each, lunch tickets and Tuesday Night Event tickets available for purchase

The Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center is a union facility.  This means they have policies on exhibitors bringing their own materials into the hall to their booth.  The best option is to hand carry your items through the front entrance of the convention center. No one exhibitor is allowed to hand carry using more than one person or more than one trip, using rolling dollies or anything else with wheels. Please contact Blaine Event Services and inquire about their shipping and handling services.

No one under the age of 18 will be allowed in the exposition hall during set up or break down as there will be heavy equipment used by the exposition service company.

Included with your booth

  • Standard Carpet (padding, upgrades, color change or daily cleaning additional)
  • One 6-ft. skirted table and two chairs and one wastebasket
  • 8 -ft. high draped back wall, 3-ft. high draped side walls
  • 500 watts of electricity (additional electrical use will be billed by Exposition Service Provider)
  • Four booth personnel registrations per 10′ x 10′ space – access to Marketplace (Expo) only.  Additional booth personnel registrations can be purchased for an additional charge of $25 each.

**Please note that PIHRA has a privacy policy and does not share the contact information of members or event attendees without permission.  Attendees have been given an opt-in option to receive email communications from Exhibitors.  This list will be shared for a one-time distribution before the conference and a one-time distribution after the conference.

Terms and Conditions

Parking

The Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center has more than 4,000 parking spaces around the Center in three parking garages and one ground level parking lot. Rates may vary by event and are in effect seven days a week. Check with your event manager for current rates. The Terrace Theater Parking Garage is generally open for theater events and has 800 parking spaces. The Arena Parking Garage is open for conventions, tradeshows and Arena events and has 1,460 spaces. The Promenade Parking Garage is open for conventions, tradeshows and special events and has 350 spaces. The Main Parking Lot along Shoreline Drive has 1,500 spaces.

Promoting your booth prizes

I will add a list of exhibitor booth prizes to our conference website and also the onsite conference guide.  Please send me a description of your prize (if any) by July 21, 2017.

Social Media

Did you know that you can add your social media pages in your exhibitor directory file?  We will be “liking” and “following” your social media pages from our conference social media profiles.  Your social media links will also be used in our mobile app.  Click on the “Update Directory Info” button from your confirmation email to add your social media sites.

Upload Your Logo

Using the same method as adding your social media sites, you have the option to upload your company logo.  This logo will be visible in our online exhibitor directory, online booth map, and in our mobile app.
